1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Engaged ("the Service") at engaged.dev, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement with Single Thread LLC ("the Company"). If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this Service.

2. Service Description

Engaged is an automated service that assists users in generating and managing content on LinkedIn, including but not limited to automated post generation and engagement activities. The Service utilizes artificial intelligence to create and manage content on your behalf. The Service is provided both as a web application and as a Chrome browser extension.

IMPORTANT: The Service may be subject to scheduled maintenance, unscheduled downtime, or technical issues that could result in service interruptions. Engaged makes no guarantees regarding service availability or uptime.

3. Account Terms

You must be 18 years or older to use this Service. You must be a human. Accounts registered by "bots" or other automated methods are not permitted. You must provide your legal full name, a valid email address, and any other information requested in order to complete the signup process. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Engaged cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

4. Service Availability and Technical Issues

The Service may be temporarily unavailable for scheduled maintenance or for unscheduled emergency maintenance, either by Single Thread LLC or by third-party providers, or because of other causes beyond our reasonable control. Single Thread LLC shall use reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of any scheduled service disruption.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • The Service may experience technical issues, bugs, or interruptions at any time
  • Engaged may need to temporarily suspend or modify the Service for maintenance or updates
  • Third-party platform changes or API modifications may affect Service functionality
  • No refunds or credits will be provided for any service interruptions, regardless of the reason

5. Platform Compliance and Account Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with LinkedIn's terms of service and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Engaged is not responsible for any actions taken by LinkedIn or other social media platforms against your account, including but not limited to account suspension, termination, or other restrictions.
  • You understand that automated activities may be against LinkedIn's terms of service, and you assume all risks associated with using automated tools on the platform.
  • You are responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Engaged shall not be liable for any account bans, suspensions, or restrictions imposed by LinkedIn or any other social media platform as a result of using our Service.
  • You use the Service at your own risk and discretion, and you are solely responsible for any consequences that may arise from such use.

6. Chrome Extension Specific Terms

By installing and using the Engaged Chrome extension, you agree to:

  • Only install the extension from the official Chrome Web Store
  • Not modify, adapt, or hack the extension or modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with Engaged
  • Not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the extension without express written permission from Engaged
  • Not use the extension in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service
  • Not use the extension to violate any laws in your jurisdiction

7. API and Data Usage

The Service may use various APIs and data sources to provide its functionality. You agree that:

  • Engaged may collect and store data necessary to provide the Service
  • We may use this data to improve our services and develop new features
  • We will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • We may need to modify our API usage based on third-party platform changes

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Single Thread LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
  • Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our Service by any third party
  • Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the Service
  • Any actions taken by LinkedIn or other social media platforms against your account, including but not limited to account bans, suspensions, or restrictions
  • Any changes to third-party APIs or services that affect the functionality of our Service
  • Any service interruptions, maintenance periods, or technical issues affecting the Service

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Single Thread LLC and its licensees and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:

  • Your use of and access to the Service
  • Your violation of any term of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right
  • Any claim that your use of the Service caused damage to a third party
  • Your violation of any applicable law or regulation

10. Changes to Terms

Single Thread LLC reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time, with or without notice. Your continued use of the Service following any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of such changes. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any updates or changes.

If you do not agree to any changes to these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Service. The most current version of these Terms will supersede all previous versions.
